NDIS IN-HOME CARE
When living with a disability, you need your home to be a sanctuary where you can be yourself and unwind, which is why we offer NDIS supports that make home life much easier. We remove the stress and complexity from household tasks and personal care activities like grooming or toileting on an hourly or daily basis. If you require the ongoing assistance of special aids like a wheelchair or walker, we help you to get around the house and in and out of bed with ease. In-home care can also include assistance with your daily medication from our trained nurses. We help you with tidying up or preparing meals - anything to help you enjoy your space. Our team has years of expertise and deep compassion, making day-to-day living at home a pleasure.
SELF-FUNDED AGED CARE SUPPORT
BWC provides in-home aged care support to people over the age of 65 who are self-funded. Our team of highly trained support workers can assist with a range of daily living tasks including personal care, nursing and domestic support to help our clients maintain their independence and quality of life. Our clients can enjoy the comfort and familiarity of their own homes while receiving compassionate and professional care, including dementia care and palliative care. We work closely with our clients and their families and prioritise the safety, comfort, and dignity of our clients. Our team is available 24/7 to provide support whenever it's needed.
COMMUNITY NURSING
Our senior team includes Registered Nurses with decades of experience in high-intensity hospital settings and in-home disability and aged care support. We provide community nursing for people living with disability and self-funded over 65s across Adelaide and Canberra. Our highly-experienced nurses will care for you in the comfort of your home as much as you need because your health is our priority. These services can include medication management and administration, regular health checks, dementia care, palliative care, PEG feeding, catheter care, bowel management and wound management. Whether you need clinical care short-term after returning from hospital or on a long-term basis, the BWC nursing team is ready to assist.
NDIS COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
We all need a bit of fun now and then! BWC helps you to participate in your local community, offering you help to connect with groups and events, transport to get there and support with community activities. We understand that you may face some challenges in terms of mobility or self-confidence, so let our amazing team take care of all those worries while you focus on absorbing some wonderful new experiences. Through our NDIS community participation supports, we can help you with sports, visiting the library, art or drama classes, volunteering, or participating in social events and family visits. By engaging in your community at your own pace and with support workers by your side, you'll develop valuable life skills and in the most enjoyable way possible.
NDIS LIFE SKILLS
Are you eager to build up your capacity to live more independently? We totally get this, and we want to help you reach your full potential. Our knowledgeable support workers are also extremely patient and caring and work closely with you to get to know your individual skills and talents. We then help you to build on these and develop your abilities in various aspects of life. This can include taking public transport, doing your own grocery shopping, planning your monthly budget or your NDIS supports, being more organised, behavioural skills and communication skills, or even cooking and applying your own makeup. We also help you to find accommodation and meet tenancy obligations. Whatever it is that’s going to get you closer to your life goals, we are here to make it happen.
